The Government of Punjab has launched a historic welfare project called the “CM Punjab Imam Card.” This initiative is designed to provide financial respect and support to the religious leaders (Imams) of Masajid across the province.
What is the CM Punjab Imam Card?

Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the Punjab government has decided to provide a monthly honorarium (stipend) to Imams. This card ensures that those who serve the community through religious leadership receive a steady income directly from the state.

Key Highlights of the Scheme:

• Monthly Amount: Every registered Imam will receive 25,000 PKR per month.
• Total Coverage: Over 65,000 Masajid across Punjab are being included in this program.
• Direct Payment: The money is transferred securely via the special “Imam Card” or designated bank channels to ensure transparency.
• Purpose: To provide financial dignity to Imams and reduce their dependence on local donations.
  Districts Included in the 2026 Program
  The scheme covers all 36 districts of Punjab. Thousands of Imams have already been registered in major cities and rural areas alike.
  Main Districts Covered:
• Central Punjab: Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Kasur.
• North Punjab: Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal.
• South Punjab: Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rahim Yar Khan.
• Other Regions: Sargodha, Sahiwal, Jhang, and many more.
  How to Download the Complete List
  The Punjab government has released the verified list of Imams eligible for the 25,000 PKR stipend. You can check the names by downloading the district-wise PDF files.
  Steps to Download the List:
• Visit the Official Portal: Go to the official website of the Punjab Auqaf & Religious Affairs Department.
• Select Your District: Look for the “CM Punjab Imam Card List 2026” section and click on your specific district.
• Search by Masjid Name: Once you download the PDF, you can search for the name of the Imam or the specific Masjid.
• Check Status: Ensure the status is “Verified” to receive the monthly payment.

Note: If an Imam’s name is missing from the list, they should contact the Deputy Commissioner (DC) office or the nearest Auqaf department office for registration.
